I called them due to shakiness in my explorer. I spoke w Mick and he stated he knew what the problem was and it could be done in my driveway to save us hundreds of dollars. Told me to have my husband follow up w him and he did. My husband fixed the issue at home which took maybe an hour and it worked perfectly!!! I will from now on recommend them and will take my vehicle to them in the future . You donβt find this kind of customer service anymore and itβs nice knowing we still have this in our community. Thank you so much for the suggestion that saved us hundreds!!! You all are amazing!!!

I was given a 2010 Chevy Impala. The previous owner mentioned there could be transmission issues. I eventually decided to check it out. I reached out to Irwin's and the receptionist was friendly and answered my questions. I scheduled an appointment and brought it in today. She took down my symptoms but after my mechanic cleaned the MAF Sensor it has gotten better. So when I mentioned what it still occasionally did they thought it was the motor mount. He looked at the car and reached out to me and mentioned my transmission was fine it was the motor mount. I went and picked up the car and he showed me what was going on and didn't charge me for the inspection. It was high millage so if it needed a rebuild I wasn't going to do it. But they mentioned if it needs a rebuild there is a guy in the shop that would probably buy it. So either way I would either got help or a potential sale. So if anybody has an Impala they don't want there is someone there that'll buy it from you. Friendly staff, only issue is they are a small shop so they may not get you in right away. However, I would go back if needed service from them!

They charged me fairly for the issues my car was experiencing. They also fixed the issues ahead of schedule. Had I gone to the dealer, they would have charged me more for only the diagnostic that would have only be done by December.

Great people to deal with. Very upfront and honest about repairs being made and the cost of those repairs. 6 months into pulling a trailer on a daily basis and not a single issue on my rebuilt 4L80E transmission. Hope I never need to have another transmission rebuilt but if I do I wouldn't take it anywhere else but here

This place was great not only did they look at my car for free and give me a correct diagnosis but they also helped me get my money back from the previous shop I took my van to because they ripped me off and did a bunch of work with out asking me. Which is against the law in Illinois which I didnβt know. Until they told me. They were honest, fast, and basically told me the car wasnβt worth what it would cost to fix and I really appreciated that. Not only am I super grateful for this place but they also got a new customer.
